Falconry, the Sport of Kings.....come and meet the 'wise' owl (or not so wise), the speedy falcon and the sharp-sighted hawk.
For all children aged 10 - 16 years old. Come and learn the ancient art of falconry at Wellington, Somerset. The Falconry Club will be both educational and fun providing a wonderful insight into the world of falconry and raptors. The aim of the Club is to educate young people about the role of Birds of Prey in nature and our world today - teaching husbandry, bird health, information about the birds themselves, skills needed to train and fly the birds, etc., and the wider environment.
